Montreal, January 25th 2010 – Nadine Medawar is proud to present So Much Hate, the second cut of her album To Be Me, released in 2009.

Although not yet 30 years old, Nadine Medawar shows an impressive artistic maturity. The authenticity of her creative approach, her sincere passion for music and the piano, which she has been playing since the age of 6, as well as the depth of her songwriting themes make her an accomplished artist.

Nadine Medawar is the author and composer of So Much Hate, a song she dedicates to a father who sacrificed everything for his children. The lyrics are about self-defense in troubled times of war; the song itself asks the question: Is it right to kill to save your own life and those of the ones you love, at the risk of losing one’s soul and not knowing anymore why we once believed it was right to use a firearm?

The softness of the melody and the quality of the evolving arrangements give the song the gravity and depth it needs. Nadine Medawar, thanks to the purity of her voice and her ability to show deep emotions, gives a performance full of subtleties that go straight to the heart.

So Much Hate is a powerful song that touches the soul from the first time and will not leave anyone indifferent. Without any judgment, nor prejudice, Nadine Medawar makes every human being face his own values and fears with this song.

Without a doubt, the video that is to be released soon will have the same impact.

Nadine will be showcasing at Canadian Music Week
on thursday, March 11th at RIVOLI,
334 Queen St. West at 8pm. For more information 416.596.1908
